BreezeCV is a service operated by Lucid Academy. It is built privacy-first. The short version: your CV stays on your device, and we never sell your data.
What we store
Your CV, profile, and the documents you create are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device — not on our servers. If you clear your browser data, they're gone. We don't require an account, an email, or any sign-up to use the core product.
How tailoring works
When you ask us to score or tailor a CV, the text you provide is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the result, then returned to you. It is processed to fulfil your request and is not used to train models or kept beyond what's needed to serve your request.
Payments
If and when you buy a credit pack, payments are handled by our payment processor (Polar, polar.sh), who acts as the merchant of record. We never see or store your card details.
Analytics
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g. which pages are visited) to improve the product. This is not tied to your identity and never includes your CV content.
Your control
Because everything lives on your device, you are always in control. Clear your profile and saved CVs any time from the My Profile page, or clear your browser storage.
Your data-protection rights
We design BreezeCV to align with major data-protection laws — the EU/UK GDPR, the UAE and Saudi PDPL, and India's DPDP Act. Because we keep your CV on your own device and don't hold an account, there is no personal-data profile of you on our servers to access, correct, or delete. You can erase everything yourself from the My Profile page at any time. For any data-protection request or question, email us and we'll respond.
